For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
Houndstooth can be a bit frumpy, but it seems to be everywhere this season (fitting with the “menswear” trend, I suppose). I’m digging the vintage vibe with this drape-collar suit from Albert Nipon — it reminds me of something Rosalind Russell or Claudette Colbert would have worn. I’d stick with black or white accessories with houndstooth, but that’s me. This suit was $398, but is now marked to $298 at Neiman Marcus. Albert Nipon Houndstooth Drape-Collar Suit
